A clearance rate of 74 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 73 per cent last weekend and 80 per cent this weekend last year. There were 934 auctions reported to the REIV, with 692 selling and 242 being passed in, 107 of those on a vendor bid. Geelong West has recorded the highest clearance rate outside of metropolitan Melbourne with 83 per cent this year, followed by Torquay with 80 per cent.
