A clearance rate of 75 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 72 per cent last weekend and 75 per cent this weekend last year. There were 631 auctions reported to the REIV, with 472 selling and 159 being passed in, 67 of those on a vendor bid. Melbourne’s east and south-eastern suburbs are performing well at auction this year with two local government areas, Glen Eira and Boroondara, recording more than 500 auction sales each.
