A clearance rate of 77 per cent was recorded this week compared to 79 per cent last week and 73 per cent this week last year. There were 1011 auctions reported to the REIV, with 783 selling and 228 being passed in, 95 of those on a vendor bid. Hoppers Crossing is the state’s top growth auction suburb with 98 homes selling under the hammer this year, six times more than the same period last year.
