Melbourne Property Sales Results

for Saturday 28th February and Sunday 1st March 2015

 

A clearance rate of 79 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 75 per cent last weekend and 73 per cent this weekend last year.
There were 1275 auctions reported to the REIV this weekend, with 1002 selling and 273 being passed in, 141 of those on a vendor bid.

This week marks the highest point in auction activity for the year to date. The top auction suburbs this year are South Yarra (43 auctions), Reservoir (42 auctions) and Bentleigh East (33 auctions). There will be fewer auctions next weekend (317), due to the Labour Day public holiday.
