Melbourne Property Sales Results
for Saturday 7th June 2014
A clearance rate of 67 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 71 per cent last weekend and 65 per cent this weekend last year.
There were 219 auctions reported to the REIV today, with 147 selling and 72 being passed in, 40 of those on a vendor bid.
One in every four homes sold so far this year were sold at auction. This compares to just under one in five this time last year. With clearance rates continuing to trend at 70 per cent over the past few weeks, it is slightly above the historical average of 69 per cent during the winter market.
