Melbourne Property Sales Results 

for Saturday 28th June 2014 

A clearance rate of 75 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 72 per cent last weekend and 70 per cent this weekend last year.

There were 636 auctions reported to the REIV today, with 476 selling and 162 being passed in, 83 of those on a vendor bid.

More than 18,000 homes have gone to auction in the year to date, compared to about 14,000 in the first six months of 2013. The higher volumes have not impacted clearance rates, which have also remained solid this year.
