for Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April 2014

A clearance rate of 68 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 69 per cent this weekend last year.

There were 274 auctions reported to the REIV this weekend, with 185 selling and 89 being passed in, 43 of those on a vendor bid.

After today’s auctions, there have been nearly 7,500 homes sold by auction with an average clearance rate of 71 per cent this year.

Next weekend the REIV expects about 830 auctions.
