for Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October 2014
A clearance rate of 73 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 72 per cent last weekend and 73 per cent this weekend last year.
There were 1508 auctions reported to the REIV this weekend, with 1102 selling and 406 being passed in, 193 of those on a vendor bid.
After today’s record number of auctions, there have been more than 31,000 auctions held so far this year with more than a third of all homes being sold by auction. The suburb with the highest number of auctions so far this year is Reservoir, with just over 500 auctions held.
