Melbourne Property Sales Results 

for Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2015

A clearance rate of 82 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 77 per cent last weekend and 71 per cent this weekend last year.

There were 940 auctions reported to the REIV this weekend, with 775 selling and 165 being passed in, 79 of those on a vendor bid.

The demand for auctions has been the strongest in Melbourne’s east. The top local government areas which experienced the highest clearance rates this year are Knox (94 per cent), Whitehorse (89 per cent) and Maroondah (88 per cent).
