A clearance rate of 78 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 74 per cent last weekend and 59 per cent this weekend last year.

There were 837 auctions reported to the REIV this weekend, with 656 selling and 181 being passed in, 98 of those on a vendor bid.

Next weekend the REIV expects around 60 auctions.
