A clearance rate of 76 per cent was recorded this week compared to 77 per cent last week and 67 per cent this week last year. There were 294 auctions reported to the REIV, with 222 selling and 72 being passed in, 29 of those on a vendor bid. Thornbury has seen a strong increase in auction activity this year with 83 sales under the hammer - a 20 per cent increase on the same period last year.
