A clearance rate of 72 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 67 per cent last weekend and 59 per cent this weekend last year.
There were 925 auctions reported to the REIV this weekend, with 663 selling and 262 being passed in, 142 of those on a vendor bid.
Next weekend the REIV expects around 1280 auctions.
