A clearance rate of 79 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 78 per cent last weekend and 69 per cent this weekend last year. There were 721 auctions reported to the REIV, with 568 selling and 153 being passed in, 68 of those on a vendor bid. The 2016 clearance rate has reached 75 per cent, due to high levels of auction sales in the last two months.
