A clearance rate of 74 per cent was recorded this weekend compared to 70 per cent this weekend last year.

There were 680 auctions reported to the REIV this weekend, with 501 properties selling and 179 being passed in, 76 of those on a vendor bid.
Forward estimates indicate that there will be close to 4,000 auctions in the month of October, including two super Saturdays. This level of auctions is also higher than the 10-year average of 3,182 auctions for the month.
